Bonjour!
Back in France, I used to play mainly teamsports from handball to rugby and then football back in 2017, which is when I’ve started Crossfit with the idea of improving my conditioning.
But then I quickly fell in love (or in obsession) with learning new skills and Olympic weightlifting and arrived a time when I couldn’t commit to my football team anymore by attending trainings and games so I would completely focus on Crossfit.
6 years later I’m still loving it, and it is the longest I’ve been committed to a sport. To the point a year ago I’ve finally decided to take a new career path and share my passion and experience with others by being on the coaching side. Friends, family or even new encounter could tell you, everytime someone would ask me “But, what is Crossfit exactly?” it is a long passionate speech about why Crossfit is the answer to everything and why you should try. I just ended up thinking, “what if I could work at the gym and talk all day long about what I am so passionate about?”.
I’m originally coming from retail, I’ve worked in Decathlon for 6 years, but as I got closer to the idea of coaching, I’ve quickly realised what it was to be driven by your passion. After passing my level 1 which gave me even more conviction about helping people to be healthy, fit, strong, and simply to move well, I’ve then met the team at Crossfit Vauxhall and had the opportunity to get mentoring and then take classes on my own and clients on one to one sessions. Today I can say I’m doing exactly what I was meant to do and is such a fulfilling thing.
I love learning, testing new things, making mistakes and trying again, which is exactly what Crossfit has to give you.
I want to keep developing my coaching skills, enjoying training with the community, and getting better and better every year during the Open.
